It felt very insta-lovey.
So, first of all, our fmc, Zephyr (yes, that's her name) had no spine at all, and her supposedly 'bold' moves just ended up giving me secondhand embarrassment. She literally jumped over and kissed him in the first chapter. And no, not in an accidental 'The Love Hypothesis' way. No. He was her first love, and seeing him again just made her all eMoTiOnAl. If impulsive was a person, it would be her. Because did she even think twice before doing anything? Nope. At least I'm glad she finally realized she was being dumb and pulled away, but still, our mmc, Alpha, (yes, that's again his name

iām still in shock about what happened in the last few pages. i honestly didnāt expect it and iām still trying to connect everything.
this plot is so well played out and each time i finish a book in this series iām still left with so many questions at the end.
the couple in this book? won my heart immediately, especially zephyr, she was so refreshing to read about. her personality was unique, she never held back and she was so strong and persistent. alpha, with all his denial and grumpiness, won my heart too. i loved them together, and i canāt stress this enough.
the other character appearances in this book were some of my favourite parts, it was so nice to read about my favourite book couples again and how they blended into the lives of zephyr and alpha.
from what iāve heard so far iām definitely in for a tough ride with the annihilator but iām too curious to resist starting it immediately.

It honestly was not bad, mara the 3rd person narration was a bit confusing.
Zypher I loved xem š«µš¾šš focused queen. Even though She broke her own heart sometimes.
The book was not as exciting as it should considering all the twists and turns, this entire series honestly.
Loved Seeing the girls getting to know each other mara Zenith hle ššššš
Hector being the killer was not as shocking as I wanted it to be, what annoyes me is I was Shipping him with Zenithšš
Who I'm tired now, I want to know that they found Luna ā¼ļøš
we didn't even know what Alpha wanted to show zypher When they were 18 and he left her there,

The shortest book in the series *insert sad face*, I was so close to giving this a 5 it had me laughing, crying and shocked what stopped me? I thought it was very fast paced and too short, I think these 2 are my favourite couple so far and I wanted so much from their story I didnāt want it to come to an end! I wish it wasnāt so short and they had a book 2 like Tristan and Morana !!
Alpha and Zephyr where cosmic, I am going to try not spoil anything but the history of these guys it was soooooo good itās probably the only and I mean only second chance romance I enjoyed (I think because it was not relationship based that partingā¦) and yet nothing which kind of sucked for me there was no pull from it but they still had fire I just wish more came from it, maybe a memory or something?? And Zephyrs sister?! I knew I just knew I canāt tell you how but I did.
Not a fan of her mum not sure why but yeah she didnāt sit well with me. I keep wondering if we have met shadow man yet ā¦ at one point I was thinking Damien but I donāt know I feel like thatās not possible they mention him living a life elsewhereā¦ then I was thinking Vin - was his odd behaviour ever explained?? Ugh I am so ready for the final book!! - maybe the new Russian fighter..?
When is Zephyr going to tell them all what the butcher said!! That was something I was hoping for in this book. I can see there isnāt a part 2 for Alpha and Zephyr and I feel sad that the loose ends were not addressed. Will he remember, what about the sister, I donāt know I think I just feel annoyed. Also why the itchy eye does he have one under there or something??!
The next book is shadowman and his love I think I understand his investment more but I am still desperate to know who he is butttt I donāt know if he will top Alpha and Zephyr for me ā¦ ok I really loved them, even the twist in the book was fast I feel like maybe the sister could have dropped in a secret or something.
I wonāt address Victor but his brother is interesting not sure what that is all aboutā¦ this review could be endless I have so much to say ahah but I will end it by saying I loved them I just wish they had more. (Yes I know the epilogue is after the final book but I am just saying I wanted a longer story for them just more. Maybe I will find this in the final book? I hope so!!)
