Basically a summary of the book/movie with photographs of all the key scenes. To be honest it made me less inclined to watch the film; I was unhappy about how they whitewashed Katniss already and this really emphasized it to me. Seriously guys, film!district 12 is all white people far as the eye can see. Good on them for casting Lenny Kravitz as Cinna but one token effort does not make up for casting Caucasian a heroine the books did not code as white. I'll wait to get it free on DVD from the library. 3 stars

Un libro para los amantes de la trilogía Los Juegos del Hambre, con imágenes e información de la primera película.

This is basically an overview of The Hunger Games movie and book, and offers no new information to fans. I would recommend this to people who liked the movie and haven't read the book, because it will give them a little bit of information, but it is basically a collection of stills from the movie. It isn't really a book.

Once again this book is good if you're a Hunger Games fan. It's kind of like the Official Illustrated Guide but shorter and more pictures. It doesn't go into as much depth as the previously mentioned book.

Si sos fan de la saga no te aporta nada nuevo y son casi todos stills de la película, de todas formas lo quería leer y aaaahhh que gorda fan que soy porque las frases que eran de la peli hasta las leí con la voz de los actores en mi mente.

I decided to review this Hunger Games instead of any of the others that I had gotten because I felt that this one was the best of them. This one was released after the movie was, and I can understand why because it had so many great pictures straight from the film itself. If you have seen the movie, but haven’t read the books, this is a great guide to read, as it fills you in on all of the main storyline of the first books. Even I, who obviously has read the book, thought that it was the perfect refresher of the series.

It takes you step by step through the process of the Hunger Games, and gives you great quality pictures from the movie that will help you visualize just what it is like to be Katniss!

I gave it a 5/5 stars for the great pictures and the wonderful summary that this guide to both the movie and book had to offer!

No es un libro, pero conlleva todo lo que un verdadero tributo quiere atesorar toda su vida, imágenes, opiniones de Suzanne Collins y una redacción perfecta para entender la armonía de Los Juegos Del Hambre.

This book is amazing.

I didn't buy The Hunger Games companion because I know that it would focus on the cinematography and behind-the-scenes of the movie. But I decided to buy this book because it is centered on the story of the movie itself, which draws me in like a black hole.

It has some additional knowledge inside, because there are insights from Suzanne Collins, especially about Panem. There are also quotes from the movie. And most of all, it's filled with stills from the movie. It's like a walkthrough of the movie, and when I finished reading it, I felt like I watched the movie again.

Also, it further opened my eyes regarding the current state of society. It made me think of a lot of what-ifs. And the biggest question is, what if this happens in our future? This book is truly eye-opening, just as the trilogy is. It made me aware of things that sometimes I overlook, making me feel like a citizen from the Capitol.

I loved this book. It is a must-read for all avid THG fans!
