The only manga series outside of Osamu Tezuka I have not only been able to completely read, but loved. I have a hard time with manga for a few reasons, but that doesn't matter. What matters is that this series is really good. It starts to fade off in the end (hence the 3 stars), but the plot was fun and the twists were great. Definitely something fun to read if you enjoy manga!

This is just utterly ridiculous... but once you get past that, it's suspenseful- you keep wondering 'how on earth is this going to get resolved??' And unlike alot of manga, at least it has a clear start and end point (I'm talking to you, Naruto)

This was surprisingly AMAZING. The art was suitable for the story which was well executed, and with the exception of a few minor issues I had with it, it surpassed my expectations.

I read these books in 2010 I was obsessed with these books when I was very young and stupid now that having looked back on reading these books well I wasted my life and time on them they are over hyped and the characters are just too smart for their own good also yes the story sounded okay but in the end it just a mess basically the whole idea is just contrived and the characters never develop at all and also pointless Misa is in love with Light for the stupidest reasons and basically has no reason to be there.
Oh and there's a body count and Light dies the egotistical asshole who should've died long before as we got stuck N & M two other idiots who are way too smart for their own good as well also predictable plot as well.
Yeah don't waste your time reading these books.
