Tackles the thorny question of belonging from multiple angles. Fun without being afraid to look at complicated truths. Love it.

There is definitely a kinship that occurs when you and your friends outsider share similar interests, but there is a lot to say when a character can empathize with anther's loneliness despite being so different from one another. Needless to say, Nerdy Bird stole my heart.

I really liked how this book about being inclusive touched on the fact that sometimes the cliques you form to fight cliques can be just as exclusive as the original one.

I simply adore this book. The moral is so important, and it is a fantastic text to teach kindness and differences.

I thought the over-the-top stereotypes were a bit of overkill, but they were effective in getting the point across.

This book was hilarious and relevant for the nerds and outcasts of today, as told from the perspective of birds. Any kid that felt that they didn't fit in can relate to the characters of the story but it will be especially relevant for goths, gamers, bookworms, and sci-fi fans.
