I thought I knew where this story was headed and was kind of rolling my eyes at the message, but then I was thrown a lovely curve ball. Should spark great conversations among kids.

Nerdy Birdy wants to belong. Finally he finds his "birdies" but then they don't welcome another weird bird. How will he handle that?

Who doesn't like Nerdy Birdy? Adorable book about being yourself and accepting others--even how sometimes we lose some friends and gain others.

Cute book about friendship and not trying to be part of the cool crowd.

A cute book with a twist that I wasn't expecting. The illustrations were a delight - nerdy pop culture references were packed into every page.

This book was adorable. Some stereotypes about what makes a "nerd", but just when you think it's going to be the same old story, BAM! It shows that even "nerds" can have cliques and be just as mean. Be true to yourself and you do you!
