I love how it's almost non-fiction, but it still has the charm and wit of the Princess Diaries series, a very fitting addition to the series.
Very cute funny book. It wasn't what I was expecting, but the end interview with Michael was hilarious. I love Michael.
In this “extra” book in the Princess Diaries series, Mia doles out some advice for young ladies who want to act like princesses. The book is short, and good fun. It does have some useful information, such as what to make of a fancy place setting, or how to keep your make up simple and tasteful. I would not go so far as to call it practical, but it does make a fitting addition to the book series, and carries on with Mia's same spirit.
Look for notes on hair and decorum from Paolo, the royal hairdresser, and of course, Mia's formidable Grandmere. An enjoyable light read, but this one is not necessary for those making there way through the rest of the series. If you skip it, you won't miss anything integral to the plot. Still, I found myself chuckling as I read through it.

More like 3.5* This was a cute, fun, quick little read that actually had a really good message. To be a princess you have to do your best, be true to yourself, and try to help others. Sometimes we all need to be reminded of those things, and that they do not just apply to royalty.

Everything I needed to know about being a princess, I've learned here. A cute, beautiful book...very very Princessy.
If you are looking for something light and breezy, something that will make you laugh while also giving you little nuggets of wisdom - this is the perfect book! I had a wonderful time laughing and enjoying these simple princess lessons or should I say life lessons, even if you are not a princess? ;)
