The reason I chose this book was to read something that would be lighthearted and humorous after a lot of dark and less humorous books in the work book club. It provided all of that. Georgie’s mind is a wonderful place to be. She’s so neurotic and funny. I enjoyed every minute with her and the list that changed her life.
The end was a little abrupt. And thus the loss of a star. Have you ever been out, as a child, or an adult, playing a game and then someone calls you for dinner. So you wrap up the story in five minutes but kind of had plans for another few hours, the end feels like that… like someone called the author for dinner on the day before her deadline so she had to throw something on the page to “wrap up” the story. It fails to do that really.
But overall this is exactly the light-hearted, humorous, good time I was hoping it would be.

A nice idea, wasn't executed very well. There was a lot of dull boring moments and scenes that I really didn't need to read, like someone planning to meet up with someone later on isn't necessary.
Characters were a bit one sided and I found the main character, Georgie, really annoying.
Overall, not my favourite but a nice plotline anyway.

What an absolutely fabulous debut novel!
I loved Georgia and what I loved even more was the relationship that she and her sister Amy have. If anything I was so envious. These two have got a great bond though at times it is pushed to the limits.
The list of things that Amy gives her sister to do, I have to admit there wasn't many that I would have wanted to do. Not that Georgia does either for that matter. The majority of them make for fun reading though as she works her way through them.
The story is very much a mix of romance and sisterly love and how far you would go for the ones you love. At times it does get really emotional and I would have to stop to wipe away the tears but I would happily shed them all over again as it was such a great read.
The List That Changed My Life is a wonderful debut which I really think will change your life, or at least have an impact on it. It gives you food for thought, of which, whilst at times emotional, was a fun and entertaining read. Very much looking forward to more from the author.
My thanks to Headline Review and NetGalley for a copy of this book. All opinions are my own and not biased in anyway.
