Beaus time has come to meet his Belle, however he's already met her in a bar months prior. Honestly couldn't connect with Beau who was cold and standoffish the entire book until his flip switches and he's in love/protective.

Connie is determined to not have a life of struggle, not after growing up that way. I get what she was doing but I found her unlikable which made reading this difficult when I wasn't rooting for either of the leads. The connection they had was purely physical and nothing really happened throughout the book.

It seems like this series goes love, okay, love, okay... I'm not sure what to make of it. The premise from book one intrigued me, every time I read the blurb for one of them I want to read it immediately. I've realised the premises hold up it's the characters connections that seem to be the problem. I hope the next in the series is back to being love, Bellamy seems like she'll be interesting, bring it on!

2.5 Stars on this one sadly

This story grabbed my attention and man oh man, it was impossible to let it go!

The Trials. Just unbelievable that stuff like this could happen, and hopefully only in stories!

Beau is black and white! But, can he stay that way?

Intense circumstances all the way around. The question is, will Beau and Abilene make it the full 109 days? Will they pass The Trials? What happens? Will there be a Beau and Abilene HEA? I can't wait to know, and I bet you want to know too!

I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.
