The characters romance doesn’t really develop it’s just like oops they’re in love. This is an easy listen but overall definetly better for kids.

Started August 03d, 2013 after finishing [b:Rubinrot|6325285|Rubinrot (Edelstein Trilogie, #1)|Kerstin Gier|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1327918185s/6325285.jpg|6510846] the first in the series.
A fast read. Nice Cliffhanger.
Be sure to buy the next (and last) book in the series before finishing this one.
As with the first book, if this was rated like a film it would be for age 6 or at most for 12: lots of more or less unbelievable romance, no sex, a little violence. The underlying theme, though, is well thought out and something to think about. Also in the context very believable.

Please note: I am reading the English translation version "Sapphire Blue" and not the German version. Because I don't read or speak German, which would make it very difficult for me to read...
