i learned about ways in which i’m being oppressed as a woman that i didn’t even know or realize😭😭it was an information overload so might have to do a re-read later. there’s a lot of interesting and infuriating info and facts in here.

Ocena: 5 z wykrzyknikiem
Świetny otwieracz oczu i materiał do przemyśleń.

This book was an astonishing read. It was validating as much as it was eye-opening. It is rich in data and so needs to be read slowly to absorb all the relevant information. This is a book everyone should read. Men will learn a LOT, if they are receptive, and women will find answers to many frustrations they couldn’t reconcile on their own. A MUST read.

I am glad that this book exists. It's a man's world, and unfortunately so many layers of society make it that way. The fact that homeless shelters do not provide safe accommodations in the US or in Europe is a sobering fact, the fact that women often lack access to proper bathrooms that keep them safe, or medical care that is truly researched to the degree that it needs to be. This book really hits that home, and makes the ultimate point of if we want to have a better society for women, we just have to include them at the table of decision making, and it doesn't take a lot to get there.
