I have received this ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Call of the Ryu Dragon is the third installment in The Serpentine Throne. I'm not sure what magic Susan is brewing because this was by far my favorite in the series. The first two book were okay but this one just gave me what the other two were missing.
The adventures and the character just keep getting better and better. At first, I thought it was kind of strange that these were such shorts books but now I get it. They are very easy to devour in one sitting and the pages just fly by. Plus anything with dragons will be amazing in my eyes.
I do kind of wish we got more in the world building department though but I think there's always room for improvement. Maybe the next book will give me the best of both worlds and merge everything a bit better.
In the end, I am really enjoyed this series and I look forward to the next book Call of the Scorched Empire.

This is the third book of the short Serpentine Throne series, the books are short but I found the story entertaining, one storyline running within all books, and with different stories containing different character's adventures. I love dragons so this is what really got me in, the worldbuilding could've been better, but being this short it was understandable.
