My nan and I decided to start a book club where we read classics together because I mentioned that I wanted to read more classics this year. As I go to university a good 5-6 hours away, this was the first opportunity we had to do this. We decided to start with this short story and I'm so glad we did - I really enjoyed it. It was such a raw and relatable story; exploring Ella's desire for a man - poet Robert Trewe - that she has never met. I am definitely going to look into reading his short story collection Wessex Tales.
