Way way too short for this to feel believable. Did appreciate the indie authors MC and that side of things. But the characters both had a lot going on and there was no time to explore it, plus it was the slowest burn with the fastest I love you okay let's get married yet. Oof. Overall I wanted to like these more because the characters drew me in, but the writing made it a little tough. That said, I still am going to read the first few books from a related series because they're also novellas and are about characters from the first book that I want to know more about.

I’ve loved this little series of sweet and spicy novellas. I will say that this one seemed almost too short, and everything happened so quickly.
