It's visually popping with art that has vibrant blues,yellows and pinks. The cell shading is subtle and lovely. The plot is action packed. Minky, captain of an alien ship needs a big prize for his queen, so he pledges to capture Earth. Instead they land at a amusement park in Iowa that is reopening, and Javi, the son of a amusement park designer, convinces them the park is Earth and they have indeed captured it. Javi then gets them to repair and work at the park for churros. The plot gets even thornier with a ton of twists and turns. Kids will lovev it, but I was kind of surprised that the reveal of Earth copies the same waythe reveal was done in Galaxy Quest.
It's very fun, and I'm sure kids will eat it up with all the plot and bright visuals.

I found this to be so fun and funny at the same time! I loved the of the crew from the start to the end of this book and I found the whole novel to be such a ride. Totally pick this up if you want something fun and light.
