This book at first glance looks dull and extremely boring and honestly, I have no idea why I picked it up. I am very glad that I did though! This book was hard to understand in the beginning, because of the different tone and just the generally different style of writing that was used which I wasn't very used to reading, but once I got used to the story and actually got into the plot, I loved it! I felt the annoyance towards Mr. Darcy, the adventurous spirit that Elizabeth possessed, and understood the characters! I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone willing to try to read it.

Always a fun read/listen! It has been a long time since I've read the book-and it was fun to have even more details and conversations of Lizzie and Darcy than are even in the 6hr BBC Drama. I forgot how the last chapter was also a bit of an epilogue. I believe this should be a requirement in romance novels, so it was a joy to get a peak into what Austen thought their lives would look like once they were together.

I read Pride and Prejudice for the first time in seventh grade and remember getting so fuzzy and cozy with the plot. I made my cousin name her cat, Darcy, after this book: so it's evident how much I adore this little story. Best re-read ever and will read again sooner.

Second time I’ve read this book now and I loved it just as much as the first time. Due to my bigger understanding in the language within classical books, I think I genuinely enjoyed it even more than before. Pride and Prejudice never fails to bring the hopeless romantic side of me out ☺️☺️☺️ and I couldn’t help but smile every time Mr Darcy and Elizabeth interacted
If this book was 1000 pages, I think I would enjoy it even further!

DNF at page 95.
I escaped high school eight years ago, I have no wish to return to petty dramas involving people who think they're the fucking shit. This was the most pretentious bullshit I think I have ever read, and what's worse, nothing ever happens! Why is this so damn popular?
