A classic and one of my favourite books of all time. I don’t think I could ever grow tired of this story.

I went in knowing nothing and this book made me insane. Brontë really had me worried in the second half but we brought it home. Truly entertaining to explore a character/narrator who is unreliable, lacking in self-awareness, laughably incompetent, overcome by passions, pretentious, and still lovable. Jane 5ever.

Easily my new favorite classic!

The story of Jane and Mr. Rochester has truly taken my heart away. It is rich and beautiful. Mr. Rochester has ruined my standards of present day men!

Their story is everything. The story of Jane is heartbreaking and shows the perseverance of a woman in a time when it was not well known. It was also very humorous and almost made me laugh on occasion.

Adele and Pilot own my heart almost as much as the legendary couple.

I think my most favorite part of this masterpiece is that Jane is plain. She is described as plain many times and I find it refreshing when every other book is about a breathtakingly beautiful woman. This changed that before all the other books did.

Can I live back in the Victorian Era?
