I absolutely love music, so books that heavily revolve around music always draw me in. So when I saw that Daniel Waters, an author I've enjoyed for a very long time, was rereleasing his novel set in the 90s about a guy trying to make it as a musician, I was already sold. I mean, I actually paid for an ebook when I only ever borrow them or download free ones.
Aural History does not disappoint with its incredible music references. It wouldn't be a Daniel Waters novel without some otherworldly aspects, this time being ghostly appearances from great late musicians. If you have any interest in the 90s music scene, be sure to check out this novel.
