Writing: felt stuck/repetitive at times. Not as rich with detail as other Yarros books.
Story: interesting premise. Afghanistan component was most intriguing part of the book.
Narration: getting a little tired of these 2 readers.

I finished this book in a day. Let me tell you NO ONE has written yearning like this book.

The whole thing was so well put together - loved the dual pov and the flashbacks - seriously a well written masterpiece- I wish there was more !

Super super super light read. Legit took like maybe 3 hours total. Lol. Nice story!
Idk if it’s just because I came from reading 1,000 page books but I found it a bit short- lacking some detail and I think could’ve been extended. Whatever it was a nice refresher romance and that’s what I needed.
