The white savior complexe in this book and the sick way she represented afghanistan and used it as a plotpoint for the most bland characters and the most cringey romance ever made me so disappointed .

I enjoyed the beginning and some of the end, but everything in between felt kind of repetitive and stale. I liked the way the characters were written, but it felt like some things were randomly thrown in at the very end.
