Though a bit too saccharine for my tastes, this novel was a very sweet and fun read. I did find a few plot points predictable and cliché, but the story was enjoyable enough that I was able to look past this.
(Also, the main character is half Korean, half white. I'm half Korean and half white myself, and I didn't grow up reading a lot of biracial characters in literature. So this is freakin' awesome.)

I'm very familiar with the movie, which is part of the reason I wanted to read the books. I was a little surprised at some of the changes, like how it ends, but it makes sense for an adaptation to change the ending since sequels aren't always guaranteed. I still loved the book. It's a fairly quick read.

I liked this book way more than I thought I would. There’s a lot of things the author did right in this novel:
-Capturing the relationship and familial structure of 3 sisters
-Illustrating petty high school drama
-Character traits of high school guys
-Writing in the perspective of a 16 year old girl
All of which was very enjoyable to read!

I really liked the book it was a fun, light read and it just made me feel comfy :)
The ending though..
I thought this was a standalone and then it would have killed me but luckily to hear there will be a sequel *yay*
