Wow, I wasn't expecting this book to have so many interesting yet diverse set of stories in it. I love the idea of setting up sequels to the original fairytales we've read or watched for years and years. This book definitely feeds into that curiosity! My favorite of them all was Aladdin and the magic lamp. His story is revisited but this time as a parent and the sacrifices that are made to keep his son safe. Though his choices could hinder him more than help. It's a quick story that captured my attention as well as my heart. I would have loved for it to have more to it though. All the stories, although short, are fabulous. They're short snippets that just push the imagination more and more. I would love to see many of these made into longer books or even as a continuation in another set of anthologies! This was a fantastic read that kept my interest from the start.
