Stolz und Vorurteil, ein Klassiker von dem man oft gehört hat.
Die Geschichte um Elisabeth und Mr. Darcy (Fitzwilliam) ist so schön und angenehm, wie es nur aus einem älteren Roman stammen kann.
Jedoch muss ich sagen, das die Geschichte bis ungefähr zu einem Drittel (S. 120) mir nicht sehr gefallen hat und sich bald etwas langwierig zog. Kurz darauf gewann die Geschichte jedoch an Fahrt und Spannung und es hat sich definitiv gelohnt das Buch zu Ende zu lesen, gab es doch sehr viele Wendungen mit denen ich so nicht gerechnet habe. Lydia und Wyckham, das war wohl eine der größten Überraschungen. Jane und Bingley hingegen ein gewünschtes Auskommen

Probably my second favourite Jane Austen novel I’ve read so far (I’m afraid Persuasion just slightly beats it). Like with all of Austen’s novels, I fall in love with the characters, laugh out loud, believe in love again and all the good things that a romantic book should do. I seriously don’t know why I hadn’t read it sooner.

I really do love this story. I've read it once before and now listened to it once, and in this particular reading Katherine Kellgren does an absolutely outstanding job. Every character is distinct and expressive and she captures the emotion so well. I wish she had done a reading of all of Jane Austen's books; she was gone too soon, but I am hoping to listen to some of her other readings.

I didn't understand much and had to have a summary just incase I didn't know. It wasn't a bad book, I just didn't really understand
I dont know if Lydia marrying Wickham was a good or bad things ngl, but we ignore that.
I felt so insanely bad for Darcy when Lizzy scolded him when he confessed for the first time..

More of underlying feminist, egalitarian morals than I remembered! Still hilarious and still has the power to take you along for the ride on Elizabeth's internal journey after several reads.
