This book was utterly confusing. Too many timelines. To much going on but at the same time nothing is going on.
The pacing was too slow for me, I couldn’t get invested in the characters or the mystery

I usually love Kate Morton's books but this was so so for me. It was muddled and confusing in it's POV and time line changes. I thought Nora was awful and Jessie/Polly a bit simply but actually really liked a lot of the other characters. I guessed at the big plot twist way before it was revealed and the mystery part ended in a way that didn't satisfy me. I enjoyed the small town life portrayals. It was ok but not what I usually expect from her
