This is one of the best books I’ve read in a long time. The plot is perfect, the characters are beautifully flawed, and the writing is magnificent. This is a book I will visit again.

Wow. Just wow. This might not have been the best book for me to read with what is going on in my life right now, but I chose to anyway. I’m so glad I did. It was absolutely beautiful. The writing, the story, the characters were all so well developed. In the end, the story brought me such a feeling of peace.

WOW! The ending was absolutely beautiful and wonderful. However, my goodness, the beginning was slow??? So slow. I just wanted to power through some parts.

Anyways, I would absolutely recommend this to those that prefer historical fiction books. I would not recommend for those who like happy endings or want an easy read.
