Man. I wish I didn’t like every other character in this series so much more than Harry. But I do. Harry is my least favorite part of these books. Stop. Talking. About. A. 17. Year. Olds. Body. Stop.

But i enjoyed the plot, and the other characters are developing more and more with each novel. Love that charity is was given an interesting backstory. I liked molly gaining powers and trying to figure out what that means for her.

Just really want Harry to stop being a creep. Please Harry.

I'm going to start rating these books more accurately.

Another great entry in the Dresden files. Dresden has become a warden and is immediately engaged in some tough choices and new challenes. Same fast-paced easy-to-follow plot and again a lot of fun supernatural beings and places to explore. Love that at the end some larger puzzle pieces are coming together.

Again Dresden shines with his friends. This entry very enjoyable over all and so many extras being part of the main plot was great. I can't help but think the council is being portrayed a bit too moustache twisting evil just because they apparently don't like Dresden but whatever, I've come to realize he's a poster child for unreliable narrator so that has to be some of it. Now if we could just stop being told he hadn't been with a women every couple chapters that would be great. That being said his and Murphy's Jr high relationship is wonderfully cringey to see play out and I felt Thomas's frustration with them in the last scene.

Pretty fine. World building/broader narrative is far more interesting than the main plotline.
