This is my favorite book of 2024. It's fresh, unique, fun, heartwrenching. Frankenstein meets Plant Dads. I will rave about this book to anyone who will listen, it's just so good and so delightfully, morbidly weird.

 This was a botanical horror retelling of Frankenstein - and I really liked that concept; however, this lost me in the execution. This didn't really give horror vibes at all and I struggled with the writing and overall storyline.
