Very fun, not too serious! Reads like Wattpad, very quick and engaging to get through with a high-action plot. What let it down was the complete lack of world-building. I could not picture that bridge (yes, what the book is named after) for love nor money! 

Don't waste your time on the sequel though, it's a mess.

As the first instalment in the series, this one obviously contained a lot of world building to set the scene. I felt this was really well done and easy to follow. It was a light, enjoyable and quick listen.

I’m a sucker for enemies to lovers, so I was rooting for our star crossed lovers from the get go! I’m also a sucker for a strong female lead, and Lara had that in spades! Witty, sarcastic, fierce and strong willed, yet willing to learn and own her mistakes. 

Aren was a great counterpart for Lara; the strong silent type, listening and learning before acting. 

This one was right up my street, and I’ve already started listening to book 2!

Fast, exciting read. I was hooked immediately. Characters were easy to root for, the romance was believable with good chemistry, and the plot didn’t drag nor did it feel too predictable to where it would cheapen the development. I’m excited to read the next installment in the series.
