Okay so apparently “found family” is a favorite trope of mine and this book executed it to absolute perfection. Definitely one of my favorite reads of 2023 and one I will be returning to. The characters are so easy-to-love and I am on my knees BEGGING for a sequel.

Wow! It has been a long time since a book left me feeling all warm & fuzzy. I loved the characters so much-especially the children. The timing of everyone's growth throughout the story felt right to me. Even though I had a feeling where things would lead, I still enjoyed the ride. There were times I caught myself smiling, picturing certain scenes. I wish I could experience it again for the 1st time.

The romance isn't the main focus which I'm happy about. I love how it builds up the relationships
