The writing was a bit too quirky and full of one liners which made me roll my eyes. I like the idea but I think I would have enjoyed the writing more when I was younger but now it takes me out of the story a bit too much.

Feel like nothing really happened! I did enjoy the wit and one liners but it lacks witchery ... Feels the same as first book with a couple new characters and Sadly not as good as the first. Gutted!

Trigger warnings: violence, kidnapping, stealing, abuse (physical and mental)

This series is a little quirky, a little wild but so fun for me! The first book was really entertaining, but I definitely enjoyed this one a little more. Charlotte is a girl after my own heart. I related to her soo much. From her stiff and regulated upbringing to her desire to chase adventure and be different than her peers, I just felt so connected to her and her character development. Alex is also such a great character! His introduction in the first book was amazing and I love how much more we get to know about him in this novel. I wish his backstory wasn't as heartwrenching as it is, but it does explain a lot about his personality and made me feel for him deeply. I am so excited to continue reading the series because I think it's going to get even wilder haha.

i really did enjoy this book my only thing was the actual quest/mission felt a little lacking in this book. i did love the romance but it focused way too heavily on it and it was much more a romance than a fantasy. still enjoyable but a little disappointing because the quest in the first book was incredible

India Holton's books are hilarious and action packed. There's tons of violence and mayhem and it's just too much for me. I hate fun. Thanks.

The world building is all over the place, and the smut was unexpected and badly written
