I'll be honest, I didn't like this one as much as Hallowpeen! I guess my best explanation would be that where Hallowpeen was very silly, this one felt almost too serious at times. I think that if this were longer, the more serious tone of it could have been better received but overall - it felt like a stark contrast from the beginning to the end. What Holly Wilde does excel in is the hilarious word play! The way she words some things, I couldn't help but cackle while I read them. And for that reason alone, I think I would read more by this author! Are they the most life changing books? Absolutely not. But are they entertaining? Absolutely!
