The Enslavement is the second book in the Princess Shanyin series. Although the book is best read in the order of the series, the author wrote this book in such a way that it's not imperative to read the first book to enjoy this one.

The Enslavement starts off where The Obsession left off, with Princess Shanyin running for her life after her brother's empire is taken over by her uncle. Now Shanyin must do anything in order to survive as a low income woman. Shanyin is a proud woman and even with her life thrown into a tailspin, she's not afraid to do what it takes to survive. This story is face paced and entertaining, with some quite steamy erotic moments that help add dimension to the storyline. A few erotic scenes in this book are a bit rougher than the previous book, but the same great ménage scenes are present and are bound to keep you drooling.

Just as with the previous book in this series, The Enslavement will throw you several curveballs throughout the story, and will keep you guessing as to what will happen next.

*I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion*
