I was so excited that this author continued the Elite series because OMG I used to love it when I was first getting into reading ebooks and romance novels. Those books have such a very special place in my heart and to read about their kids made me feel happy, but it made me just a little bit old…. Haha!
The dark and dangerous world continues in this new generation of badass men and women struggling to find their life in college and in the gang they have been born into. I was so happy that the characters are college age because it allowed them to be a little more mature and their hard lives were just a little bit more realistic. These baby gangsters were just so bloodthirsty and fierce on the outside, but so vulnerable and squishy on the inside. I just LOVED IT! They were just so fierce when it concerned each other and it was honestly so heartwarming.
UGH this storyline broke my heart and would reattach it again. It made me laugh and it made me cry. IT WAS JUST SO COOL Y’ALL! These poor babies have such twisted and hard lives that it just hurts my soul. I also thought that their parents just set them up for a harder life with their stupid rules, but it definitely helped with the drama of the plot. UGHHH it took forbidden romance to a whole new level and twisted my soul just a little bit.
These characters were just so loveable and I either wanted to hug them or make out with them. Soo Serena is a badass and for sure on my list of girlfriends. She was such a strong and loveable character that any girl would love to look up to, I mean minus the part where she is willing to murder people…. Murder is wrong guys! I also was just fascinated with her thought process and her point of view. I really wish we had been able to see her as a younger girl because I’m curious if she was always this way or if she grew into this fierce queen.
I also was SOOOOOO obsessed with Junior. Omg he was delicious and obsessive and possessive and girlllllll I need some of that in my life. I absolutely loved reading his point of view because the way he thought about Serena was just a flood to my basement in the best way. He has been added to my ever growing and lonnnnnnng list of book boyfriends. He of course is on the top end of the list because DAMN this boy was finnnnnnne and superrrrrrrrr bad boy!
Serena and Junior had such a steamy, angry, thrilling, and tragic love story that kept my eyes super glued to those pages, cats and kittens! Ugh this book was so badass and thrilling and I can’t wait for more of the series!!!!

Gah, this book was SO GOOD. The angst that RVD puts in her books is real and Ruthless Princess was no different. Ah, I can’t calm my brain enough right now to write an intelligent review because I just loved this book so much. Junior may be my new favorite character in all of the Elite series books. He’s just so... loving, passionate, he’s so good for everyone. He is such a good friend to Asher and has wisdom beyond his years. He is so loving and accepting of his father, even with all of the things his father has done. And Serena... I mean... come on. No girl can say they don’t want a love like that! He is her King and she bows down willingly (most of the time, at least) because of how well he loves her. She’s a spitfire, which I love, and which is so true to who her parents are. She’s that badass girl that you want to be or at least want to be friends with, but is also able to show some vulnerability to her best friend. Her love for him is not unimpressive, either friends. Their story is just so good. When you think of modern day Romeo and Juliet, this is it. So freaking good. I’ll write more later. Too excited now and to be honest, Scandalous Prince is just screaming my name!
I'm all for mafia romance but this one is too cringey and ridiculous. Dnf
1 star for the gorgeous cover

I was procrastinating on reading this book as I knew I had to sit down and take my time with it. But unfortunately, it was impossible. I swallowed the book.
Serena and Juniors four play took me right on the edge of my seat. Whenever I enter a mafia world, it’s always hard to understand all the regulations or their family values but Rachel made it look so easy to understand.
BUT SERENA AND JUNIOR

BUT SERENA AND JUNIOR
BLOOD IN. NO OUT. I freaking ❤️ it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Okay. While I had zero issues with Junior and Serena’s relationship, everything around it was annoying and confusing. Goodreads told me I didn’t need to read the Elite series before this series and that was a lie. I feel like there was so much back story that required explanation that this book is not a standalone! Also this is supposed to be a mafia but I literally have no idea what this family business is, nor I do understand the makeup and dynamic of all the families from this story alone! Basically, it’s possible that this book could have been better if I had read the Elite series but I didn’t because I was told I didn’t have to. Kind of disappointed.
Ps: because I have no idea what the family business was or really who the enemies were, most of the book just felt like kids playing at being mafiosos.

Yes! ALL THE STARS!
This was an absolutely epic story and I love that nothing is held back. The violence, the love, the chemistry, the respect, the tragedy, the loyalty, and the intensity; it is all 100%!
It never ceases to amaze me how this author can completely rip my heart out, stomp all over it, put it through a grinder, and then manage to slowly put it back together in the end. This is an unputdownable, passionate, and ruthless story and I couldn't put it down.
A. Must. Read. Mafia. Romance.
I am so happy we get a new series from the Queen of Mafia romances. I am so in love with this world and never want to let go. I can't wait until this Winter and we get the next book!
Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.

I received and ARC for my honest review. So honest I will be.
I went into this book with extremely high expectations, and I’m happy to say I was not disappointed.
I have read all the eagle elite books so I knew all the things going into this book (not that you need to have read them) even though this is a new series I would recommend reading the Eagle Elite series eventually if you haven’t already. Anyways back to Ruthless Princess.
Serena..... Junior...... love..... hate..... pain...... life...... death.......
I really want to talk about what happened but I feel as though I’ll just ramble and give away the ending. (Now that songs in my head. Are you an illusion...) And I went off track again....
I stared at the ARC on my kindle, and stared at it for a while until I gave in. And a few hours later I’m finished. That’s right I read the entire thing front to back in one sitting and didn’t even realize that my entire afternoon/night was spent ignoring everything around me. (I didn’t even get up to check on my 1 week old baby pigs, well I almost stopped with the mention of tea cup pigs) there is so much crazy and awesome and terrible things in this book that you can’t help but become so engrossed in what’s happening until you hit that last page in the book and then look up and realize that it’s over. So now what..... I haven’t been that sucked in in so long I don’t even know what to do with myself. Maybe I should have taken the disclaimer a little more serious. Ha but anyways. This book was great, once again Rachel has outdone herself and I can’t wait to read the next book. If only we could fast forward until January 2021......
Ps- I didn’t even realize the news was on the tv while reading this book. And believe me I change the channel at the first mention of any news because I like living in a bubble, especially right now.
Ive been so excited to get my hands on this book. The next generation of Elect. The kids of the badass previous Elect. I couldnt wait to see what Rachel Van Dyken was going to bring to this new series. She brought everything I was expecting and so much more. The chemistry between characters, the love of the whole family, the twists and turns to the story.
I was gripped to the story from page 1. Serena and Junior have a love/hate relationship. They cant love freely and openly because its forbidden by the Families so they have to hate each other to hide it.
I loved seeing the past characters all grown up. Ive missed them all. Rachel Van Dyken has a way of creating a world that you want to live in.
Rachel always takes us on a roller coaster of emotions and this book was no different.
I can not wait for more books in this series!!
