The Queen of mafia trope is back with a new series based on the world of Eagle Elite, it's time for the next generation to take over. Rachel brings us back to the ruthless world of Eagle Elite University. It all starts in Royal Bully a prequel to this new series, the story about Ash, now we get to see Serena and Junior's story one that started like no other, forbidden love has never tasted so bittersweet. A fierce heroine, one that takes being a bitch to the next level and a hero that will make you fall in love and fight anyone for. This new series can be read separately from the original one, this book is a must-read on the top reads for this year and one that came to star for a long time. Bravo RVD I give you a standing ovation for this one!

This book completely sucked me in from the first page! I was addicted and could not put it down. Junior & Serena have my heart!

This is probably one of my favorite mafia romances and I can’t wait to read the rest of this series.

Junior and Serena we best friends growing up. They fell in love but they know if they tell the families that they are in love, it means death. So they hide it. They sneak off and into each other’s rooms. They realize their love will start a war between the families so because of that their friendship is shattered.

Being born into the mafia, these two have grown up learning how to fight and kill. They, along with their siblings and cousins are the second generation. They all have each other’s back no matter what. Now they are all forced to attend college at Eagle Elite. Junior & Serena must lead the second generation and kill anyone who gets in their way. Although they “hate” each other, they will always have each other’s and the second generations backs.

They can’t hold back anymore. They are in love and they are soulmates. They don’t care if they get killed for being in love anymore.

So… I must've read something completely different than everyone else because this was fucking awful and obviously overhyped.

The storyline was too far-fetched, unrealistic and the characters were weak and juvenile. The authors attempt in making the characters ruthless badasses was a complete fail. Their childish behavior, heavily applied to both main and side characters, was too off putting for me and that only further contributed in making this novel an absolute mess. Need I also mentioned the horrible writing? It's almost shell-shocking to know RVD wrote this. She could have done so much better. She has written better. What the fuck happened?

In short, don't bother picking this up. Making it to chapter five before calling it quits is an accomplishment in itself. This mafia romance was an utter disappointment and complete waste of time.

Me as I was reading Ruthless Princess: I laughed. I got angry. I still hate Nixon. I was WTF and holy hell. I cried. Did I say I still hate Nixon. I cried again.

I don't think I need to say any more.

But I will.

Firstly, that cover is FIERCE and I will definitely be getting this book for my shelf.

secondly, this could be read as a stand alone, however to me, if you haven't read the Eagle Elite series (at least in part) things may get a little bit lost. There has been a lot of build up to this series, and you need to know some of it.

I am obsessed with this book. I am obsessed with Eagle Elite: The Next Generation.

I have so many thoughts about this tale, however I also feel that readers need to just dive in and experience this story, therefore

Serena, Junior and Ash really are their dad's mini-mes. I could completely see their parents in them. Yet they are so much more. I felt they were more stubborn. More intense. And at times more ruthless.

I was lucky that I was buddy reading this book with a friend, as I was able to vent my feelings as I was going. And I went through allll the emotions. I was a wreck. It is the morning after the night before, and I am still at a loss for what to say.

Buy this book. And devour it. Just have wine / vodka and tissues handy.

Well. Where do I start? I was on edge for literally this whole book. Junior and Serena were everything. The tension between them, whether they were hating each other or loving each other, was palpable.

This was a really great way to start off this new series about the second generation of Eagle Elite. It was like going back to the start, for this new gen, except way way more intense. Its the mafia we know and love, however its intensity is multiplied. We have this whole new bunch of kids, who are trying to live and respect their upbringing, at the same time as not wanting to fall victim to the same mistakes and issues.

Junior and Serena go together so well, and were the perfect pair to start us off with. Apart from being the oldest, they're just so...I don't even know the word. I loved that we got to learn about both of their insecurities, and the things that they want from the world. They also were trying to save each other, amongst all the hate, their underlying love never truly wavered, and held strong.

Apart from focusing on these two, there is also a huge part of the book which is about the kids as a whole. So many really big things happen, and I think some will definitely continue into the next book. There are stand-offs (at which point I was cheering), there were tragedies (at which point I was crying), and there was laughter (at which point, I of course laughed along too, because they wouldn't be our favourite mafia heroes without their distinct personalities).

I felt a whole range of emotions whilst reading this book, and I devoured it as fast as I could. The series is written to be read as a new set of stand-alones, however I personally believe you would benefit from reading the original Eagle Elite series first, as there is too much history and backstory to really appreciate the whole thing if you haven't. But that is my personal opinion and in no way affects my review.

I cannot wait for the next book in this series, and the release date is way too far away for my liking. I'm obsessed. Blood In. No Out.

Loved this it was so good! I loved the push and pull between Junior and Serena! Their chemistry was hot and even though loving each other could get them killed, they still chose love.

Can’t wait to read the next book! And I highly recommend this one
