i ended up really liking this. defo a bit monotonous/slow for the first half. almost dnf’d it, v glad it stuck through!!

On the back cover, there is a quote that says this book is part The Westing Game and part We We’re Liars. This is so true! I absolutely loved this book. I couldn’t put it down! The Hawthorne Legacy comes tomorrow, and I don’t know if I can wait!!

So while this book felt incredibly predictable and juvenile. It was still a fun read. I wanted to find out what happened next even if I guessed half of it. Honestly read like a fan fiction. It did compel me to finish so it deserves it's 3 stars.
