Not a good read. Petty women, confusing character list at the beginning, plethora of triggers. I rarely don’t finish books, but i won’t miss out on this one.
Graphic: Bullying, Body shaming, Toxic relationship, Fatphobia, Infidelity, Toxic friendship, Gaslighting, and Lesbophobia

The choice to unravel the women through each others' narratives sometimes felt a little too pointed, as if Brett and Stephanie's narrations knew the other was thinking about them. However, this idea fascinated me, and kept me going through the book. The choice to make their narrations lie, on the other hand, felt strange at some points and a cheat in others.
Graphic: Fatphobia, Toxic friendship, Suicide, and Body shaming
Moderate: Murder, Racism, Schizophrenia/Psychosis , and Alcoholism
