Magic Nights is book three in the Dragon Born Serafina series by Ella Summers.

I still haven’t read Alex’s story yet. Some reviewers say things make more sense after you read them, so it might be best to read the books in the order they should be read. Even with that this story is full of action, mystery, interrupted dates, and demons being summoned. It was fun, intriguing, and frustrating at times.

I loved that Kai and Sera kept having their dates interrupted. It shouldn’t be that hard to take one evening off for dinner, dancing and a night of fun, but something always interrupted them. They took it well and eventually got their date and hot night together.

“Do you think we’ll ever have a normal night?” she asked him as he started the car. “Of course not. That would be boring.”

I also loved Naomi, Sera’s friend. We spend so much time with her in this installment chasing down a kidnapped half breed fay child, meeting her family, and more. Naomi is a fun character and a really good friend to Sera.

Before I move forward in the series I’m going to go back and read Alex’s story. I think things will make more sense and come together as a hole if I do that.

Magic Nights was a fast-paced read with great character development. The relationships for everyone in this story jump forward. As for the story it has an interesting setup, some plot twists, action, and romance.

Cool

It was a really interesting book and it added more elements to the story. I’m so happy with what happened between Kai and Sera.

So I'm trying to read these books in a somewhat order. This can be found on Ella Summer's website under Dragon born (Its towards the bottom of the webpage), for my sake I'm going to include this intro from now on with Ella's books for this series (Although maybe this would be worth the books being linked on Goodreads...) I'm also just for the sake of too long a review hiding it under spoiler tags.
Spoiler Dragon Born World: Publication Order
The Dragon Born series can be read together or independently. Each series features a different protagonist (Sera, Alex, Naomi) and has its own story arc. There is also a larger story arc that connects all of the Dragon Born series together. If you enjoy seeing how the story lines work together, I recommend the following reading order:

* Mercenary Magic (Dragon Born Serafina, Book 1)
* Magic Edge (Dragon Born Alexandria, Book 1)
* Magic Games (Dragon Born Serafina, Book 2)
* Magic Nights (Dragon Born Serafina, Book 3)
* Blood Magic (Dragon Born Alexandria, Book 2)
* Magic Kingdom (Dragon Born Alexandria, Book 3)
* Fairy Magic (Dragon Born Awakening, Book 1)
* Rival Magic (Dragon Born Serafina, Book 4)
* Dragon Born Shadow World: a new trilogy featuring Serafina & Kai

* And coming next... Shadow Magic (Dragon Born Alexandria, Book 4) & Spirit Magic (Dragon Born Awakening, Book 2)

Ella's website for anyone that wants it

This started off slower than the rest of the books, I was a little bit concerned it wasn't going to be as good as the others, which it wasn't but it was still good and comical. I found myself smirking and really enjoying it.

I'm also glad her secret isn't secret anymore (to Kai..)

It was like the book was written so that the main characters would not go to the fourth book without saying the most common words in romance novels. It was more of a filler book to me.

I have read a lot of the Ella Summers books now and I would say this entire Dragon Born series is worthwhile. There are pitfalls in all books, this one has some character issues, but each character is interesting and mostly believable. There are no outright sex scenes and there isn't a lot of bad language or gruesome details, but there is enough that these books are unsuitable for younger children (I would say 15+ but you should know what your child can handle before you allow him/her to read these books). The plot is fun and doesn't give away everything, so you can still be surprised as the details unfold. Enjoy.
