My review is for Evil Enemy by Elle Thorpe.

I really enjoyed Eve and Boston’s story.
It was full of drama, suspense, and surprises (some good, others... not so much). There were a few laughs thrown in, as well as a decent dose of WTAF? Elle never fails to surprise me with the twists in her plots.

It was a bit of a slow burn, lined with anticipation, and enough tension that it bled from the pages. But, once the lines got blurred and the brakes came off, it was full steam ahead! *fans herself*

I liked how it intertwined with Locked Up Liars, while also answering some questions I had once I had finished that book.
It gave me a completely different view of Officer Boston, softened some of the displeasure I had towards him.

While you don’t have to have read Locked Up Liars to enjoy this story, I would highly recommend it. Or for you to read it after enjoying this snippet. The interconnected world is worth it, I can promise you that!

A great anthology full of stories topped to the rim with love, hate, attraction, pain. In this stories I found new authors and ones I still adore, each story brings something unique to the table. For now I will review Hate You by Logan Fox until I can type about the others because trust me you’ll want to devour each one. In Hate You we have Jude who comes from a wealthy family’s has an adorable sister, yet he hates his new stepmother and step sister. He sees the stepmother for what she truly is and that is a social climbing gold digger. Jude seems to think that Harper doesn’t fall far from her family tree and all her issues are just her being like her mother. They can’t stand each other, their back and forth fighting escalates to tricks being played, and them getting hurt. Harper has issues that she takes out on the bottle and Jude may hate her but can’t stand to see her drag herself through the mud since that’s his job. Not to give too much away because this story was intense, but after hurting each other over and over again their attraction blooms and bleeds off the pages, yet is their hatred for each other and their own lives too much to break through or are they doomed to fall into self hatred and tragic endings because they can’t let go of the hate? When things take dangerous and tragic turns can they survive it? This author is genius when it comes to creating damaged characters in twisted tales that consume the reader to the end. These tropes may not be for everyone but if you can handle the triggers (warning inside) then these authors and stories are perfect for avid dark readers and newbies alike.

This review is for Hate You by Logan Fox.

An intensely, addictive, enemies to lovers between a brother and his step sister. This was like no other dark book I’ve read before! Between the angst and the drama, I didn’t know what was gonna happen next. I definitely enjoyed this dark bully romance!
The characters Jude and Harper both struggle on their own with different things, so when they are forced to be a family things go really out of control. There is so much angst between the two. The tension was seriously thick. When reading, it was like I could feel it radiating off of the book. They were two in the same.
The wild ride that is taken in this book is seriously mind blowing. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book that had so much unfixable drama, that I was for sure not knowing how the outcome was going to be.
This was for sure a book I was not expecting. At the same time I felt it was different because of all the possibilities these characters could’ve ended up with. It’s definitely a surprising and intriguing book! I recommend it for all who love dark, bully, and enemies to lovers!

This review is for You Are Mine by Emma Luna.

Wow oh wow! This book I was not expecting! You Are Mine was angst, dirty, and deliciously dark. Hands down steamy hot with these characters. I am just blown away at what I thought this book was gonna be like in the first few chapters to change to something so much more. I love all the characters and hearing each of their stories. I’m definitely interested in know more about each one of them. I am definitely needing more from this world. I need answers to questions and to see where it is gonna go with Connor and Lexi. I hope this author releases more soon for this series!

Great stories

I love anthologies! We get to read great stories and are introduced to some fabulous new writers

My review is for Evil Enemy by Elle Thorpe. If you’ve read Locked Up Liars then you will be familiar with these characters. The timeline of the events is also parallel with Locked Up Liars which I thought was pretty cool as now we get to see the POV from Eve and Boston during certain events.
Please know, you do not have to read LUL first. You won’t get lost

Eve is a stripper and the owner of the strip club. Joshua (Boston) is a cop both meet at a town hall where Eve learns her business is in jeopardy of closing. Things get heated and things take off pretty quickly from there.
On man, this was really good! The storyline is filled with humor, mystery, steamy romance, and an ending that left me wanting more.. oh that ending!!

I can’t get enough of Elle’s books. This is a definite recommend from me

Review for Evil Enemy by Elle Thorpe

Joshua Boston and Eve Hawkins couldn’t be anymore different, but also couldn’t be better for one another. Mayoral candidate William Reed wants to demolish and rebuild Saint View starting with Saint View Strip Club, which Eve owns. Boston, a cop, is tasked with searching the club for evidence that it’s more than a strip club.

Boston is seen as a dirty cop because well, all the cops there are dirty, but he wants justice and go do what’s right more than anything, especially when tragedy strikes. He seems like he’s clean cut, never does anything wrong, but this man is hot and dirty in the bedroom.

Eve is feisty, strong, and caring. She’s like the mama bird at her strip club, always taking in people that need her help. She knows what she believes in and doesn’t back down. She’s unashamed of who she is. I’m a little obsessed with her!

The tension and push and pull between Eve and Boston is amazing. This book will make you laugh, cry, hurt, and sit on the edge of your seat. There’s a twist in this book that had me gasping out loud, like what?!

Elle Thorpe has done it again and I can’t wait for more of this world

This review is for two books featured in the anthology: Evil Enemy by Elle Thorpe and Wild Irish by Brooke O’Brien.

Evil Enemy:

If you’ve read the first book in the Saint View Prison series, Locked Up Liars, then you have already been introduced to Boston, who is a cop, and Eve, who is the owner of Saint View Strip Club.

I have been waiting for their story and it does not disappoint. There is so much tension, chemistry, and suspense in this story. I DEVOURED every single page of it. Boston and Eve are two people who you’d never expect to have the sort of connection they do, but despite coming from different backgrounds they work so well together. I seriously couldn’t get enough of them.

I loved also getting some of the events from Locked Up Liars from Boston’s POV and I feel like it really added to that story line and mystery. Evil Enemy also had its own mystery and suspense that I absolutely loved and kept me on the edge of my seat. I can’t wait for the Saint View Strip Club crew, because I really need to know that is going to happen next!!

Wild Irish:

Austen and Ryder met as teens. They weren’t close and went their separate ways. Now, four years later, the end up at the same school. Austen’s new roommate just so happens to be dating Ryder’s friend…so there is no avoiding each other.

There is so much hate between the two of them, but there is also so much chemistry between them. Austen and Ryder are drawn to each other. Ryder is pretty protective when it comes to Austen, but to the hate outside world he pretends to hate her.

I absolutely loved Ryder and Austen. They knew how to push each other’s buttons. I loved their shared connection. They have life experiences that they share and adds another level to their relationship. I loved the sweet moments between them. Ryder is protective and will really do anything for Austen.

If you’re looking for a collection of enemies to lovers, bully romances this is one to check out!

Wild Irish by Brooke O’Brien

Wild Irish is a great, short enemies-to-lovers story. I liked that even though it's short it's packed with hot tension, chemistry, and banter between Austen and Ryder. As much as they hate each other, there's a fine line between hate and love. And that's what happened between these two. Ryder can't help but feel protective over Austen and there's a reason why he tried to make her hate him and push her away.

These two just continuously push each other's buttons. But Ryder always come through for her when she needed it. I loved how their story came about.
