I really did enjoy this, it did fall slightly short of my expectations, but only just. If you are a fan of Sherlock Holmes, such as shows like Sherlock and Elementary, then I do suggest you give this a read.

I really loved the first half of this book and would have given it alone a much higher rating.  The second half had me questioning if I was still reading the same book, or if there was something wrong with my copy (downloaded from Project Gutenberg).  Turns out it was the same book, just the narrative & style changed completely and I didn't love it.
