Jeffery Deaver has been a favourite author for over 15 years, and I'm particularly enjoying the Colter Shaw series.  He's a fun character, and I find myself agreeing with a lot of his beliefs/morals, which is always a nice addition.

The ending was definitely a twist I never saw coming, and I thoroughly enjoyed the book.  Now knowing why things happened the way they did, I would happily re-read the book to pick up on details that may have been missed or unknown on the first reading.

It's one of those book which are easy to review: a fast paced and action packed page turner that kept me turning pages as fast as I could.
Deaver is a master storyteller and this book is highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this arc, all opinions are mine

Though Deaver overplays the emotional aspect of a relatively simple novel, which  tends to give the novel a bit of a drawn-out feel, the 'reveal' is unexpected and the manner in which the breadcrumbs leading thereto is cleverly hidden  in plain sight, again cements Deaver's abilities as a top notch crime / mystery fiction writer.
