Couldn’t put down.

I started and finished this book in the same day. I couldn’t put it down. I love a good enemies to lovers and Isolde and Mark are just that. Isolde just wants to be a nun, but her father wants her to marry Mark to get info for the family because of his business.

At one point I thought they were starting to catch feels, but NOPE!

That cliffhanger at the end..... Now I will have to get Salt Kiss to see how the story continues!

This was a good read. Loved the characters.  Didn't love the ending,  but it was OK. It went quick,  could have been a lot longer and still follow a good storyline.

Not sure how I found this book but I was hooked. It was not what I expected. I knew there would be kink and an age gap but the subtle epsionage plot and potential murder for the Catholic Church came out of nowhere and I was intrigued. I immediately added the next book on alert for my library.
