Is Dog Man growing on me? Perhaps. I’m especially tickled by the thought of all the kids who will someday encounter A Tale of Two Cities and think wait, that sounds familiar - because there’s actually an impressive amount of quoting in here. This is definitely the #1 most requested series at the library lately, so I’m not surprised that Ben is really into them. They’re genuinely funny and enough of the story is in the pictures that he likes to “read” ahead and tell me what will happen. The text is also easy enough that it will make a good early reader before too long.

This Dog Man is a cute and sweet one compared to the last two that I have read. Looking forward to more adventures with Dog Man, Petey, and Lil Petey!

Heartwarming. Inspirational. Thought-provoking. Celestial. All of these are words that came to mind while reading A Tale of Two Kitties. Truly Dav Pilkey is a man of great skill.

I've never read tale of two cities, but that line kills me every time it's used anywhere.

My girlie loves the Dog Man series and has read all ten books;so I decided to give them a try. I've decided to read them half on my own and half aloud to her, which she is loving! This is book three in the series. I actually enjoyed it so much that I'm planning to move on to book 4! I love that this is a graphic novel that mixes action with a few quiet moments that I found to be really touching. The Girlie  loves the action and the comedy. I find it hilarious that she reads these books and laughs like she's watching a cartoon:)
