I adored this book. Normally I’m not a crier but honestly this one really tugged on my heartstrings. My only wish was less romance and more exploration of the resolution of the family as it felt a bit rushed.

This book was average in its writing style. The plot was predictable, the romance rushed, and the HEA a little too neat. But by golly did the author ever know how to capture and convey the emotions of the characters. I think I spent half the book crying with empathy for the young mother who has never met her own child. So, while I don’t normally read this flavor of book and I did not enjoy it to the point of wanting to recommend it to all my friends, the power of the emotions was the driving factor of the story for me.

Good book and good plot but I noticed on many occasions that the grammar was not great in this book,hence the reason of marks being deducted.
