Listened to this in 1 day. Normally it takes me a couple days to finish an 8 hour audio book but not today.
Really enjoyed this romance. Ford was wonderful, I would like one of him in my stocking this Christmas!
I also liked Valentina, but she did annoy me with the constant 'boy' talk. I understand she was freaked out by the age difference but he's 25 not 15, while younger than her 37, that's still an adult, especially with all the things he had to deal with at a young age. Almost every time, for over half the book, she's constantly first thinking 'man' than immediately changing it to 'boy' just to try and keep that distance between them.
This was a great way to spend a quiet day at work.

This book is just perfect, I love every page, every chapter. The characters, Valentina and Ford are amazing. Their banter, their chemistry, the circumstances. I love a young yet mature and romantic guy, that has all the sexynes and charm anyone would love to have. Valentina is a woman that fears going out into the dating game again. Yet they find each other in a way they never expected. The story plot goes deeper than expected, yet it is just perfect. I got all the feels and I think it has come to the top list of my favorite Vi Keeland's books. A superb 5 star must read!
Now I know why people love Vi Keeland's books. I'm just gonna join in the train and say that I love her now. I thoroughly enjoyed this one a lot. So much. So good! It was honestly better than I expected, the plot was a lot deeper than I imagined.
I first thought that Ford would be immature but boy was I so wrong. He's sensible, responsible, cares for his family, respects women and also knows how to be patient and understanding. He definitely became a book boyfriend because of that.
This book was an easy 5 stats for me so maybe I'll write a more comprehensive review later.

Normally, I don't feel the urge to buy a book if it isn't on Kindle Unlimited but I needed a new older woman younger man romance, so this one came at the perfect time. I related to Valentina's insecurities a lot as someone who also has had bad experiences in relationships with men. Definitely will be reading more from Vi Keeland.
