Super Solid 4.5 Stars!!

My first ever older woman romance and I was NOT disappointed!! The hero was so sweet and understanding and I was rooting for our heroine the whole time watching her grow and find herself after the failure of her first marriage! Such a sweet and wholesome romance with tons of chemistry! Definitely worth the read!

This was my first Vi Keeland book and I loved it! I was intrigued by the older woman/younger man trope, which is why I picked it up. As someone who is often attracted to younger men, and who has dated younger men, I really connected with a lot of Valentina's thoughts and feelings. I also have a bit of a crush on Ford. Does he exist in real life? Because I would like to find him. The sexual tension between the two characters is top notch, the supporting characters are fantastic, and the twist towards the end didn't feel like it was done simply to throw a wrench in the plot, but actually worked really well. If you're looking for a steamy read as summer winds down, or if you like romances where the woman is older than the man, then you should definitely pick this book up!

All for it!

Absolutely loved it! It's my first younger guy older women book that I was actually able to finish. I absolutely loved the back story and how their relationship progressed. I wish there was a bonus epilogue that shows us their life down the road. I mean who doesn't want more about Ford and Valentina??

4 'my turn' stars!

Being of a certain ‘mature’ age I found that I could really appreciate this older woman – younger man romance.

I felt for Valentina, she had spent so many years of her life sacrificing herself for her marriage and her son. Her husband had left her for a much younger woman and destroyed any self-confidence that Val had left. Her best friend, Eve, opens up an online dating profile for her and there she connects with 'Donovan' and a relationship starts to grow through messaging.

Ford Donovan…sigh. He's a 'young' 25 year old who had to grown up fast after his parents death, taking care of his younger sister. I love how he is the one that continues to pursue Val.

"You look in the mirror and see the woman your ex made you feel like - a thirty-seven-year-old mom. I look at you and see what you actually are - a sexy-as-fuck woman who has a killer rack, curver I want to memorize in the dark, and a laugh that's contagious."

The one thing that irked me while reading was that it took so long for Valentina to come to grips with falling for a younger man and him having such strong feelings for her. Her insecurities coming to the surface a few too many times.

Overall and enjoyable read that I would gladly read again. I would be interested to find some more books with a similar trope.
