Ok, so I was giving this book a solid 4 star all the way up until the ending. The ending just kind of felt super rushed. Like it was just a jumble of loose ends, quickly tied together in a neat little bow, and the end. It did have a surprise shock reveal there in the end, which is what we are always waiting for in this genre of book, and I definitely wasn't expecting the who/what/how, but it didn't come off believable in the slightest. And while I liked the ending, in that the MC got her justice, how she got her justice makes absolutely no sense to me.

The whole idea that a serial killer would stalk their only surviving victim, and that it would just happen that said victim becomes a serial killer herself, just so he can later help one of her scammed victims to catch her in the act and surprise her with his reveal, to then also turn around and finally give that person justice

...I don't know there's way too many holes in this and honestly, has me scratching my head. It's totally out of character!! Not to mention, most thriller/suspense novels have me itching to get through, but this one had a really hard time holding my attention for longer than 30 min at a time.

Definitely a page turning book with a plot twist I didn’t see coming! Kept me engaged! First book by this author & I look forward to reading his other books for sure.
