LOVE this series so far! They're the perfect Christmas cozies, full of lovable characters, fun suspects, all things Christmas and such a magical vibe. Nick sounds like he is, indeed, Mr. Hunkalicious, and I'm definitely looking forward to more romance between him and Holly. Don't even get me started on the elves! Adorable! LOL

This book was so festive and cozy! Even though it takes place at NYE it has all the perfect Christmas / winter vibes in this town. It was light and fluffy and exactly what I wanted to read! The characters were vibrant and there is budding romance and for the most part this is a lovely welcoming Santa town. I will read one of these every year!

Picks up right after book 1. I thought 1 character was the murderer, but I was wrong. Really enjoyed this.

Sweet Sequel...
I adored the first book in this series. I was so disappointed by the many inconsistencies and plot holes in this sequel.
The first book mentions that the MC has held a temp job for ages, but now she's suddenly a doctor (a doctor who doesn't understand how hypothermia works, at that). Wiggles' favorite song and the only one he listens to is different between books. The dialogue was often stilted, and I was so distracted by the incongruencies.

Holly has decided to stay on in Candy Cane Hollow...maybe indefinitely. The New Year's Eve Ball is a big affair and she has agreed to be Nick's date. During the festivities darkness descends as the disco ball falls and crashes onto one of the town residents. Something about the way it happened bothers Holly and she sets off, once again, to solve the crime and save the town she's come to love.
