Chase has been friends with Ariel's brother since forever. He always knew she had a schoolgirl crush on him, but she isn't a schoolgirl anymore. She curvy, beautiful and knows what she wants. When she asks Chase to help her to find someone to father her child, Chase knows this is not a good decision, especially when his friend, Forrest, gets wind of it. But as the plans go awry, and it is no longer just a clinical baby-making act, Ariel puts the brakes on their deal and goes back to clinical. This book has an underlying story of forgiveness and learning to love yourself and accept that you are not responsible for the actions of others. This is the last book in the Inked Heart Series, and that makes me sad
**My thanks to the author and Hidden Gems for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**
Although this book is part of the Inked Hearts series, it can totally be read as a stand alone.
I really enjoyed this book and considering what Ariel will have to go through in her future i found her to be a really strong character able to go and get what she wants i also loved the way she just spoke what she thought even if it was hard stuff to hear for the other person.
Both Ariel and Chase were perfect for each other and were a perfect balance for each other and Ariel really helped Chase see what he was missing in his life, and how it was him that was holding himself back from being happy.
I have only read one of the other books from this series, however i am seriously thinking of getting the other books to read, especially Hunters.
This is a really good series.

What a joy to finally see Chase get his story and be able to heal. Who would've thought it would be over making a baby on purpose. I liked Ariel with him. I felt the were perfect for each other and balanced each other. They grew together and made their dreams come true.
I kinda did want to see how they worked together during healing. I'm glad that the author touched upon this health issue.
Sad to see this series go.

I don't see any other way for Crystal Kaswell to have ended this fantastic series. Chase and Ariel are perfect for each other, and they bring out so many emotions as they find the love they've both been needing for so long. I love the transformations they each make, not for each other, but because of each other. Their need to do and be better people for themselves, to be stronger together, is everything. I love seeing their relationship develop, as well as the healing of other relationships and issues they're both facing. Crystal Kaswell brings the laughter, the tears, the heat and of course - the HEA. I'm so bummed that it's the end of the Inked Hearts crew - but look forward to cameos from them in other books - and hopefully bonus scenes or sequels in the future!! Highly recommend this book and the entire Inked Hearts series!!

With the author note at the end of this book, I understand that this book is about journey of 2 people making decision together about having children and deal with cancer.
That being said, I still feel the conflict in this book is resolved too quickly. Without any drama, I may add. I understand Miss Kaswell decision to focus the plot on 2 people coming together with love, but without extra drama/ plot, the story falls flat.
The romance between Chase and Ariel is too quick. Feels like insta love.
Overall this is still OK read. I managed to listen to the whole audiobook until the end.
