Something about the way he wrote the female characters bugged me. Otherwise a good story

Peter Swanson’s ‘The Kind Worth Killing’ is a page-turner that has you hooked on every page & chapter. A fascinating unpredictable murder fiction with a range of enigmatic characters.
As interesting, descriptive and well written as this novel was, it really lacked at the end. The ending felt lazy and somewhat vague, for a book that had been so rich in description up until that point. So it didn’t make sense for the reader to have nothing. Though, it was quite obvious what would have happened to the main character- it would have still been nice for it to have been written in detail rather than leaving it for the reader to ‘read between the lines’ and for the whole novel to be pieced together and finished nicely.
Apart from the lacklustre ending, it was an interesting read with lots of major twists and I would definitely recommend it.
