I've read Lang Leav's past books, and I can say that this was kinda meh. It feels like a compilation of instagram captions and tumblr posts. I skimmed most of the prose because they were not as enchanting as I thought they would be. I already set a standard image of them in my brain, so maybe that's why I'm disappointed. If you're looking for sentimental entries, I do not recommend this one.

4.5 stars rounded up! I really liked this poetry collection! Lang really knocked it out of the park with this collection of talking about heartbreak and rising from it. I would recommend this to someone who is starting to get into poetry.

Light read!
Nice collection of poetry, soft & comforting in its own way

I've been following Lang Leav's poetry online for a few years now, and I have always appreciated her words. This particular collection of her work was beautiful and simplistic, and quite enjoyable.

Not all of the poems resonated with me, but some of my favourites were: My Life, Thirty-Three Locks, Sandcastles, About Love, Poetry and Prose and Too Far In. It's a decent collection that fit together well, and was a quick and easy read.
