Casual on-and-off bedtime reading. Not the best of the Moomins novels I've read so far - mainly because it focused almost entirely on the fathers of the characters I'd rather be reading about. Sulky sulky adult review.

This wonderful book has a fantastic story in it that involves an easter egg hunt and the lessons it has for creatures in the Moomin World. So clever and yet so sweet.

Written in a far more silly style than the other moomin family book I've read (Moominvalley in November) - it's not as enjoyable for me, though I'm sure its intended readers would like it. Does contain revelations about the family origins of several classic characters. A wee bit on the Spike Milligan side of kooky.
